Description
These healthy and crispy oil-free fries are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. They are the perfect meal for anytime of day and are just as healthy as they are indulgent.

Ingredients
- 3–4 yellow potatoes (depending on the size)
- 1 tsp salt for cooking water
- 1 Tbs flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp chipotle chilli powder (or any chilli powder)
- 1/2 tbs Harissa (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the potatoes into fry shapes. It’s best to keep the slices on the thicker side for this recipe.
- Add the sliced potatoes to a pot and cover them with cold water and a tsp of salt. Turn on the heat to high, once the water comes to boil, set a timer for 5 minutes. After the time has elapsed, drain well and add the potatoes back into the pot.
- To the pot, add the flour and seasonings. In this recipe I used salt, pepper, garlic powder, chipotle chili powder and Harissa (optional), but feel free to add whatever seasonings you like. Ensure that the pot has a tight fitting lid and vigorously shake for 5-10 seconds.
- Add the fries to a parchment lined baking sheet at 425 until crispy and delicious (about 20 minutes).
